Felicia (Flee) O'Brien began her career in gymnastics, achieving national level and working as an elite coach. She then transitioned to circus arts, training in hoop diving, adagio, Chinese pole, teeterboard, tissue, and petite flying trapeze. Flee also trained extensively in Montreal in both solo and duo swinging trapeze.
After completing her training, Flee performed professionally in circus for 17 years with renowned companies such as Circus Monoxide, Boswell Wilkie Circus, Circus Oz, La Fura Dels Baus, Tumble Circus, La Clique, and La Soiree.
Her successful career as both a gymnast and circus artist laid the foundation for a remarkable coaching career that has spanned over four decades and across the globe. Flee has worked with prestigious organisations including Trick Circus, Women’s Circus, Circus Oz, The Flying Fruit Fly Circus, Belfast Community Circus (Northern Ireland), Cork Circus (Ireland), No Fit State Circus (Wales), Resorts World Sentosa (Singapore), the European Juggling Festival, Trapeze Loft (New York), Seoul Street Arts Creation Centre, Tumble Circus (Ireland), Duo Little Finch (London), Les Arts Sauts (France), La Fura Dels Baus, and The House of Dancing Water for Dragone Entertainment (Macau).
