Artist Bio

Discovering his addiction to circus as a teenager at the famed Circus Monoxide in Wollongong NSW, Jon’s undying love for aerial circus arts drove him to train diligently and daily before making the move to Melbourne to continue pursuing a promising career in performance with the National Institute of Circus Arts.

There, he spent years studying under some of the world’s leading trainers in the artful disciplines of Acrobatics, Hoop Diving, Russian Bar, and Hand-to-Hand, mastering the skills he now takes with him to countless national and global stages.

Jon is a prolific industry professional, with a reputation as a dedicated, highly original artist, committed to the ongoing development of his artform. He continues to work through Australia, Europe, Asia and the U.S including onboard P&O Cruise ships, as a specialist circus artist for Opera Australia, and a variety of shows with Ensemble Acrobatics group, Affinity Circus.

Jon was cast in PARADE – a resident show at the Chamaeleon Theatre in Berlin, where he appeared in over 170 shows in a six-month show run and was also among the winning recipients of Best Circus Award at the Adelaide Fringe Festival for the show Barbaroi

Jon is a fiercely talented performer with the electric personality and stage presence to match. His unmatched passion for the art of circus makes him a valuable asset to and production, cast, event or festival he graces.
