Bede

Think Pink Panther meets James Dean. From his early beginnings as a gymnastic superstar to graduating with a Bachelor of Circus Arts from the National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA), Bede is a unique, world-class cocktail of acrobatics, hoop-manipulation, and magnetic stage sassiness where humour meets gravity-defiance.

With 13 years of intensive gymnastics training, and five years of dance paired with a flair for performance, Bede takes to any stage with a captivating, award-winning style. He has graced the cast lists of some of the most recognised productions houses, including: Circus Oz, Flip Fabrique, Trick Circus, Melbourne Fringe Festival, and Fringe World Perth to name just a few. 

Bede is a seasoned professional with nearly 15 years of experience as an industry professional, working across all different styles from children's performances to 18+ Adults shows. Most notably, he was commissioned to create works exhibited by the National Gallery Victoria (NGV), where he was part of a four-person circus installation recreating a Sidney Nolan painting of an AFL player, as part of their 150-year birthday celebration (directed by Anni Davey).

With over 15-years in the industry, his multi-cirque acts combine fast-paced juggling, tumbling, hula-hooping, acrobatics, and dance – sealed with a killer smile, a cheeky wink, and a dazzling on-stage allure as an elite ensemble member or soloist.
