Daniel is an exciting Australian contemporary cirque artist, with a strong background in dance and movement artfully paired with advanced acrobatic and specialist circus skills. Expect unbelievable feats of superhuman ability across a variety of cirque disciplines with a spectacular stage presence and penchant for dramatic flair.
He has featured as part of the memorable Circotic troupe that thrilled Australia’s Got Talent audiences in 2012 and the critically acclaimed Melbourne Dance Theatre Company production of Angel’s Eyes at the Adelaide Fringe of the same year.
Internationally, Daniel travelled to the Circa Festival du Cirque Actuel in Auch, France and was part of the spectacular NICA opening act at the world famous 2013 Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain in Paris. Daniel has since performed with Circolombia in the Grayboy Entertainment production of Life As We Know It, Transformation and Fuego on the P&O cruise ship Pacific Dawn.
Daniel made his musical theatre debut in the South Korea and Macau tours of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s CATS in the role of Tumblebrutus. While in Macau, he also completed a training contract with the highly acclaimed aquatic show by Franco Dragone: The House of Dancing Waters.
Daniel was also featured in the 2016 documentary: Run Away With Cirque Du Soleil. Chosen as one of the four circus artists to appear in the documentary, he travelled to Buenos Aires and Montreal to film, where he worked alongside Cirque Du Soleil artists. In 2018, Daniel travelled the globe to 18 countries across Europe and the UK with the world’s elite production of Cirque Du Soleil, performing his specialty acts in the production’s Sonor and Viaggio aboard the MSC Meriviglia.
His drive for high quality performance, understanding of modern circus and entertainment, and choreographic ability make Daniel a very valuable asset to any production.
