Hailing from the Northern Territory, Ty Wallent never lost the passion that he developed for music throughout childhood. He originally played guitar, drums and for a short time, saxophone! After beginning circus classes at the age of 11, he always aimed to integrate music into everything he did.
Throughout his time in Darwin, he trained, performed and taught diabolo, unicycle, hand-to-hand and acrobatics at his local circus space, Corrugated Iron Youth Arts. Ty is also trained as a theatre technician, doing both lighting and sound design for shows around Australia anytime he's not throwing diabolos or people (for circus purposes!).
Ty graduated NICA in 2024.
